Stan leads the Center for Cybersecurity at Kean University, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in cybersecurity, information security, criminal justice, computer science, and management information systems. He is the National Security Agency Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (NSA CAE-CD) Point-of-Contact for the university, and the New Jersey InfraGard (FBI Public/Private) Sector Chief/SIG Leader for the Higher Education group. As a first-generation college graduate, Stan received his Ph.D. in Information Technology with a concentration in information security. His dissertation focused on the power skills of cybersecurity and information security professionals within the critical sectors of finance and manufacturing.
